my son has a chituma 50cc it was runing fine until the needle in the carb went down inside broken split washer after replacing with new split washer we have no got a problem with tick over and it seems to be very rich tryed to adjust mixture screw but nothing seems to work (get realy high on fumes not good) can someone help with any suggestions many thanks

Take it back to factory settings - mixture screw the correct number of turns out (usually 1.5 to 2) and the needle on the middle slot. If that doesn't improve it, then you'll have to dismantle the carb to see if anything has fallen down and is perhaps blocking the needle from seating fully.
