The WRC leg in Finland is a top rally. And the Mexican one is pretty good, too. Anyone disagree? Real shame about Gigi Galli not racing at the mo. Why don't they send bikes down the stages, eh? I know they do the Paris-Dakar, but it might make some great supplementary viewing if they went out on a few select events.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. I reckon sending bikes out on some real rally stages would be a great idea. It's not moto-cross, it's not road-racing, but what would that be like seeing some loon give it the big one over some of the Finnish jumps, before disappearing into the forest? Excellent!

| I think you're onto something there Number6. It would breed another type of 'Biker'. Like you say, not motorcross and not roadracing, so Paris-Dakar runners would love it! Perhaps it's a fuel issue, but then you could just shorten the length of the stage. It's strange this hasn't been thought of actually. Now you've mentioned it, I've never seen anything like a Rally on TV... apart from Paris-Dakar.
Yamaha FZS 600 Fazer ... in gold! Ride safe, and look out for the Rainbow of Death! There're only 3 kinds of people in the world, those who can count, and those that can't. Roses are red, Violets are Blue, I'm a schizophrenic ..... and so am I! Take pity on the man who invented the drawing board, when he screwed up, he had nothing to fall back on. Stuff everything, I've always got my bike.
