| The forgotten king of all road races (or perhaps roi) Le Mans 24 hour two weeks ago, some excellent pics, link and some vid footage (soon) on the ukbiker blog http:ukbiker.blogspot.com Talk about a hard race. The bikes were pearls of excellence and race craft before the race, it's now stinking, blackened, scarred, broken and battered, but it did cover 675 laps over the continuous 24 hour period. Video of the bike hopefully next week.
Sideways through time

Caught some of the live action on Eurosport (or it might have been Motors), including a couple of glimpses of the boys' green meanie and I've got to say that the world would be a much duller place without the likes of Nice Mr Alf making awesome privateer efforts against the might of the factory teams. Must pop in and congratulate him on a fair finish: he was looking rather gloomy about it all last time I enquired about the racing season! Might even buy a new T-shirt - the old one's looking rather threadbare these days - do you think that'd be enough sponsorship to get my name on the side of the bike???
