yer the plug is fine and the coil is fine it makes a slight grinding noise when you push the bike backwards and forwards as tho something is rubbing the biuke starts and ticks over but when you put revs on it dies out

Don't know about minimotos specifically, but in general a carb's a carb, whatever it's mounted on...

When you say "freeing", presumably it's the float needle that's stuck? Symptoms will be little or no fuel getting to the engine. Cure for that is normally to tap gently on the top of the carburettor to free it up: get a screwdriver on the carb casing and use a rubber mallet or similar.

If the bike's been standing a long time, or the needle keeps sticking, it'll need a strip and clean - probably full of sticky unleaded residue. Try this link http://www.minimotogarage.com/jet_replacement.html for a guide to stripping down the carb: you can wash all the components with hot water and degreaser (or washing up liquid) to clean them. Don't worry about replacing the main jet itself unless it's worn. You might well need new gaskets/O-rings, though.
