Do a search on eBay under "completed items". That'll give you a good idea of what they go for in the real world.

| The other thing to think about is how much will someone who wants it pay for it? Something I detest about e-bay is you could be bidding against the seller's friends and cos your willing to go and pay so much for something you get taken for a ride. (Not necessarilly on a bike!) I just got to say this as my brother in law sells antiques on the site and asks various familly members to bid occationally. Is an anti-que the opposite of a pre-que?

| I have no idea Rebel, but that's the thing with Ebay. Did you see those draws they'd put up there? You'd bid on a ticket to enter a draw to win a car or something for what ever you pay. They say there is a thousand tickets fo rsale so loads of people bid on them. Then the draw is made. One of his mates gets his photo taken next to the car and says he's the winner. You're none the wiser to the scam, he's pocketed £1000, and you won't complain about loosing a quid. Brilliant idea, highly unfair, but brilliant. People have gotten wise to it tho so no-one does it anymore. could've done it with your bike.... with royalties to me for suggesting it!
Yamaha FZS 600 Fazer ... in gold! Ride safe, and look out for the Rainbow of Death! There're only 3 kinds of people in the world, those who can count, and those that can't. Roses are red, Violets are Blue, I'm a schizophrenic ..... and so am I! Take pity on the man who invented the drawing board, when he screwed up, he had nothing to fall back on. Stuff everything, I've always got my bike.

It's called shill bidding, and if eBay catch you doing it, you'll be banned. Whether that worries you is another matter ...

| Must admit I had never heard of it till the in law told me he had my sister on another comp in another place bidding his antiques up. Spose if your there to make money then anyway is a good way even if as you say e-bay will kick you off if they find out your doing it. I will not condone it then BD. I will have to think of another legal way to make some extra dosh. I hear they are looking for someone to sell Triumphs in India! LOL
