Help. I am looking to buy a second hand top box to fit my sprints triumph rack. I would have paid the money to have a triumph one but they don't do the racing green to match the bike anymore or the box cos the machines are worn out or something like that the guy's at Pure Triumph in Wellingborough told me. So the options are a new style Triumph box costing fortunes or a second hand one that will fit my rack. Just looking to store my lid and clothes when stopped for any length of time. Any ideas peeps?

eBay?

Don't worry too much about the colour. You can get plastic primer and spray any colour you like for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

Enquire about a Givi or Kappa fitment. Both much cheaper than the trumpet one.

Sideways through time

And Kappa much cheaper than Givi, for what is essentially the same product and interchangeable.

BD you did an article on your addition some while back and you plumped for the Givi right? Why not the Kappa?

Available through my local dealer, that's why. I wasn't too sure on all the plates and racks I needed, so I did it all through him. That way I knew I was getting the right stuff for my bike - the fitments are pretty much unique to each model. Now I know the setup better, I would go for Kappa stuff off eBay and save a bit of money.
