| Anyone got one of these? I bought my mine at the Excel show in London (£165... bargin!) and it's a very nice helmet. The problem I'm having is with the wind getting in. My head is constantly cold and I have a draft coming in from somewhere (nice in the summer months but we're not there yet) The vents aren't open anywhere but still, the problem occurs. I was wondering if this is normal and if anyone else has this?

| Some helmets do, and some don't! My old Shoei was excellent at not letting in draughts, but it misted up so badly (even in summer) that I had to ride with the visor open a tad all the time, so the draughts got in anyway. The new one (a cheap-ish Caberg) is very draughty but has an optional piece to clip in under the chin which almost eliminates it. As the anti-fog coating on the visor seems to work well, this is quite a good solution. I think you can get thimgs to go round the base of the helmet and seal it closer to your neck and chin. Perhaps try one of those?

I think you're right Black Dog. The helmt I used before this one was a Vemar and it had a piece of material coming from the chin guard which cut wind and noise filtering up. The XR-1000 doesn't have this so I think it's a safe bet this is the problem.

I'm sure you can get generic ones to fit most helmets. Roadhoover will know.

| I'll give him a shout, cheers. Although a FogCity might do the trick. It's designed to stop wind and warm air going up and hitting the visor, thus stopping it misting up
