on the "summer" zip, and not the zip 2" to the left which is meant for winter riding, with hundreds of thick jumpers underneath.

This is the first time I have been able to do this in 13 years.  My recent diet is working.

Just thought I'd share that small success with you all.

No sugar at all, and cut bread and spuds by 90%.  Porridge with maple syrup for breakfast, raw veg and fruit at lunchtime, proper meal at night, no snacking.  I've been losing weight at about a pound a week, so it's slow but sure.

The sugar was the key thing for me, as the doctor warned me I was now glucose intolerant and further abuse of my insulin system would result in type 2 diabetes.  I read up about that, and it frightened the living sh*t out of me.  After that, motivation wasn't a problem.

For ladies, of course, bedroom athletics once a day with the person of your choice has pretty much the same effect, I am told.  (Parker can pay me later for that.)

So you're cutting the carbs? My mate is doing that too (currently on his DAS as of today actually!) and he's lost a bit of weight too.

My problem is beer. I drink far too much of it and it's causing me to get a beer gut. What's funny is I'm pretty solid underneth the flabby bits, it's just this god awful gut I have to get rid of. I might have to start this no carbs diet... it means missing my pasta though, and being part Italian, it's a sort of sacrelidge.

So what is a none poncy blokes drink then? No alchpops however. I refuse to stand there and drink that crap. I was thinking G&T. I can't do Vodka (another reason for a 'No' to alchopops) and a Malibu and Coke, although very nice, is just gay.

Yamaha FZS 600 Fazer ... in gold!

Ride safe, and look out for the Rainbow of Death!

There're only 3 kinds of people in the world, those who can count, and those that can't.

Roses are red, Violets are Blue, I'm a schizophrenic ..... and so am I!

Take pity on the man who invented the drawing board, when he screwed up, he had nothing to fall back on.

Stuff everything, I've always got my bike.

Shame!  Please pass the gentleman my sympathies if you see him.  It can't be easy living with a lady of your gorgeousness and be prevented from doing the natural thing.

How are you doing BD? How well have you done now?
