So, willies ... were we talking about willies? Well well. I loved the graffiti I saw when the film Free Willy was just out. There was a poster advertising the film, and underneath the title someone had written "with every six gallons".

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr! I have deleted all my inbox and sent items, but it is still telling me that my folders are full and no-one can send me messages. I'll leave it a day and then try again.

I am a member of a lot of forums, and I have to say that this one is about the least user-friendly of the lot. And slow.

Since you've been away, we have a few new regulars, who all seem great contributors and are keeping the place alive. It's been pretty clean stuff, more or less, though. I've "tried to keep my end up", but without your support, it's been "hard". Glad to see you back.

Endem, the Mrs. has yet to mount the trusted steed. It would seem it is not the time of year? (Too cold, too wet and not just now cos I am busy) I have looked into getting a seperate biking partner LOL. Random will not go on the back as she(like her dad) likes to be in control. We were going to look at a couple of bikes for Randomgirly this weekend but she thinks the distances to go see some of them are too far. Hopefully she will find some nearer soon so she can get out an about getting in some miles for her test.

Does the riding season ever end, then? I thought we was all ruffty-tuffty types who don't shrink away from a little rain, cold, ice, hurricanes or blizzards... Actually, that's quite genuine (double-entendre's about "riding" aside!): I believe all the regulars here are all-year-round bikers, are they not?

Nice to see one of the regulars returning, too - hope all the poorly is in the past, lady p. Myself, I have a Yam Tedium and a Suzuki G-SeX-R: if owners take after their bikes, that may be a sign of split personality...

Speaking of regulars - rebelman, did you get to take the Mrs pillion - and more importantly, did she enjoy it??! Did you, come to that? It's always ...interesting... getting a new passenger on back!

Lady P. It's been awhile girl! Roadhoover was made redundant and no longer oversees our smut saddly but I think he still joins in on the forum when he gets the chance. As for this thread "find willy" is not a problem for us bikers (Or indded Lady P alone) an as so Mazz I think maybe a new subject might be in order. But I challenge you Mazz to post your Willy picture first!

Hello I am lady p I have not been around much lately as I have been quite poorly....But back now and smut is my middle name, Black Dog will be testament to that... I must say I do like a big one, I am talking about bikes now (yeah like she really is), my bike is middle of the road but I dont want people I "ride" with to feel a little inadequate so got rid of the VTR and got the XT660R. The thing now is the "riding" season is nearly or lets be honest its over now so all we can do is talk about riding rather than doing it.......So let the conversation begin......

Ps sorry Roadhoover for turning a perfectly decent thread into something lower than whale poo, (that sinks) or so I have been reliably informed....

Well, I don't believe we've been formally introduced...but I don't think I could fault a smutty lady!

You might want to check rebelman's thread in Touring - he doesn't actually say "willy", but it is (apparently) a fact that all of us bikers are tremendously well-endowed. So that's nice to know. Wondered why my knees were always sore...I had assumed it was down to old crash injuries...

It would appear there was also a 6-cyl 164-model - the 3RC164 for any anoraks out there. It was rubbish, though!

And here is a 6 (RC166), just for the hell of it!

Bit of an interleaved update theme going on there, it seems.

Checked on Redman's bike, being rather smug about having remembered the model and everything - and discovered I was wrong! The 164 was actually the 1964 4-cyl 4-stroke that got soundly kicked by Yamaha 2-strokes (incidentally, Redman's original one sold at auction in 2006 for £325,000). The RC165 which replaced it was the first 6-cyl, evolving into the RC166 as ridden by Hailwood, who promptly won the 250cc World Championship on it.

You mean Jim Redman's RC164, I rather fancy. Musta been at Brands at the same time - WSB 1997, springs to mind - two parade laps, damn thing was louder than Armageddon, sounded like it ought to not just break but pulverise the sound barrier. Apparently, it was quite a misery having to follow one during yer actual race...!

The Tomahawks do run, by the way: they just need a few mods to be fully street legal (number plate, presumably, for a start). Just that nobody's ever had the bottle to see if the theoretical top speed can be achieved in practice.

Not true. It used to be the case that you could sell a 2-bed terraced house in the Smoke and retire to a 500-acre farm in Wales, but that was many years ago. Average prices round here (West Wales) are about the same as most of England and local youngsters are struggling. In my area, the influx of thousands of European workers on the LNG project has pushed prices sky-high, comparatively.
