Hi everyone, I'm Tom from the UKBike.com team.

We are looking to launch our new blog soon, which will highlight the latest bike reviews, news and video items, information on UK bike events, and updates from UKBike.com.

Our blog is also a platform for quality writing. We're looking for bike riders who can regularly turn their stories, thoughts, bike reviews, and most of all their passion for motorbikes into words.

UKBike.com is the UK's leading motorbike reviews site - in August alone we had 90,000 individual visitors. Today there are 4,401 bike reviews in our archive, and we'd really like to bring the qualities of these reviews to our new blog.

Transport and biker cafes in West Sussex

Whiteways at Bury Hill. Always full of bikers meeting up at weekends, fairly busy during the week in Summer time.

Transport cafe in Cowfold. On the Henfield to Cowfold Road. Always busy with biker meets on a Sunday, lots of bikers use in the week, open early morning until 2.00 pm daily.

Anyone else been here?

I took my Aussie friend out here on FRI and it has to be one of the most out of the way pubs I've been too.... but also one of the best. Sun gleaming down, hot as hell and a nice cold beverage with a beautiful view of the castle and river. We also had the company of a swan for our time there too!

I would highly recommend this place, it's a busy pub for where it is and the ride there is great.

Cafe or food stops around Peterborough area?

Can anyone recommend any good cafes or food stops around the Peterborough area? (or there abouts)

I'm looking for a stopping off point anywhere around Market Harborough, Stamford, Peterborough and Spalding while on my way to Hunstanton for the day.

I will give 10% discount to anybody who needs a room in the Milton Keynes area that belongs to this site. We don't have a bar and only have 10 rooms but I manage it and it's very clean and nicely furnished. We accept cards but the discount would be on cash only. We do have under-cover parking and camera surveilance so if your up this way and need a room then let me know.

Whilst gently cruising the leafy lanes of East Sussex and Kent at the weekend with a fellow gentleman motobicyclist we stopped for breakfast at a fine little eaterie in Brenzett, judging fom the amount of bike pix on the wall its a popular spot for bikers. I eschewed the brekkie myself but judging from the silent and concentrated munching of my fellow rider, the breakfast is extremely appetizing. From Hastings proceed to Rye and have a cigarette break and a coffee at Rye lock, then whizz out of Rye on the Brenzett/Dymnchurch Road. all the way to the end, There's a little Happy eater if you fancy it, but turn right to Dymnchurch and about two miles up the road on the right is the cafe with a large car park. Enjoy!!

UKBike will shortly be attempting to compile a comprehensive biker pubs directory. There's a few out there but they are not comprehensive and haven't been updated. Currently collecting pub details if any spring to mind from you lot out there.

Smoke-free?

From 1 July (in England, and already in Wales), it will be illegal to smoke in a public enclosed space. Is this forum defined as an "enclosed space" within the meaning of the Act? In which case, any posters wishing to smoke will have to log out and have a fag elsewhere before logging back in and enjoying the company.

Pub landlord into bikes.

Nigel (I think that's his name) at the Three Oaks pub (between Hastings and Rye) is mad keen on bikes and is looking to deck some of the rooms/bars with biking memorabilia etc. Might be worth a nod if you're passing, not far off the A259. Worthy diversion if you are on the Rye Lock run

Could be a handy venue if a club is looking for a meeting place, watering hole, venue etc. The grub is pretty good as well.

A pub i have been to a few times and is really nice, a group of us from another forum have started meeting there on a wednesday evening.

It has ok parking and a really nice garden with a stream running through it should be really nice in the summer.
